With effect as of 1 May 1950 the national establishment Trhárny was incorporated with registered office at Ivančice and with the principal subject of business activity of ripping rugs and textile waste of all kinds. In 1958 the national establishment became part of VHJ VLNA and its name was changed to RETEX, cultivation of textile materials. In the years 1967 -1970 manufacture of unwoven textiles was introduced, with the most popular of them being the JEKOR floor textile. In the period of organisational climax (1953) RETEX managed 68 detached local workshops across the then Czechoslovakia with 2118 employees. The joint-stock company RETEX with registered office at Ivančice was incorporated on 1 May 1992. At present the company ´s registered office has been moved to Moravský Krumlov and the company has other detached workshops (at Fulnek, Stráž nad Nisou - Kateřinská, Stráž nad Nisou - Londýnská) and employes about 180 employees. The principal subject of business activity is manufactuer of unwoven textiles for building industry, automotive and furniture industry.
